Shower Curtain Rod Angled Ceiling

Installing a shower curtain rod on an angled ceiling can be a tricky task, but it's definitely doable with the right tools and materials. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get the job done:

Materials you'll need:
- Shower curtain rod
- Shower curtain
- Measuring tape
- Level
- Pencil
- Drill
- Screws
- Anchors (optional)

Instructions:
1. Measure and mark the height of the shower curtain rod.
The height of the shower curtain rod will depend on the height of your shower and the length of your shower curtain. Measure the distance from the top of the shower to the desired height of the curtain rod. Mark this height on both sides of the angled ceiling.

2. Find the center of the shower.
Measure the length of the shower from one end to the other. Divide this number by two to find the center of the shower. Mark this center point on the ceiling.

3. Draw a level line across the ceiling.
Using a level, draw a straight line across the ceiling, connecting the two height marks you made in step 1. This line will indicate the position of the shower curtain rod.

4. Determine the angle of the ceiling.
To determine the angle of the ceiling, you can use a protractor or a level with a built-in angle finder. Measure the angle between the level line you drew in step 3 and the angled ceiling.

5. Cut the shower curtain rod to the correct length.
Measure the length of the level line you drew in step 3. This is the length that you need to cut the shower curtain rod.

6. Cut the shower curtain to the correct length.
Measure the distance from the top of the shower curtain rod to the floor. Add 6-8 inches to this measurement to allow for the curtain to gather at the bottom. Cut the shower curtain to the desired length.

7. Drill pilot holes for the shower curtain rod.
Using a drill, drill pilot holes into the ceiling at the marks you made in step 1. The holes should be slightly smaller than the screws you will be using.

8. Install anchors (optional).
If your ceiling is made of drywall, you may want to install anchors to help support the weight of the shower curtain rod. Insert the anchors into the pilot holes.

9. Screw in the shower curtain rod.
Insert the screws into the pilot holes (or anchors, if you used them). Tighten the screws until the shower curtain rod is secure.

10. Hang the shower curtain.
Hang the shower curtain on the shower curtain rod. Adjust the length of the curtain as needed.
