Hanging Curtains Using Command Hooks

Command hooks are a great way to hang curtains without damaging your walls or molding. They're easy to install and remove, and they come in a variety of sizes and styles to match your décor.

To hang curtains using Command hooks, you'll need:

Command hooks
Curtains
Measuring tape
Level
Pencil

Instructions:

Measure the width of your window and add 6 inches to determine the length of your curtain rod.
Mark the center of your window frame with a pencil.
Place a Command hook in the center of the window frame, 1 inch below the top of the frame.
Attach the curtain rod to the Command hook.
Measure the length of your curtains and add 2 inches to determine the height of your curtain rod.
Mark the height of your curtain rod on the wall with a pencil.
Place two Command hooks on the wall, 1 inch below the height of the curtain rod and 3 inches apart.
Attach the curtain rod to the Command hooks.
Hang your curtains on the curtain rod.

Tips:

For heavier curtains, use more Command hooks.
To prevent your curtains from sagging, hang them so that the bottom of the curtains is 1 inch above the floor.
If you're using a blackout curtain liner, hang it behind the main curtains to block out light.
To add a decorative touch, add curtain rings or tiebacks.
