How To Make Your Own Curtains

Materials You'll Need:

Instructions:

Measure the width and height of your window. Add 6 inches to the width and 12 inches to the height to allow for seams and hems.
Cut two pieces of fabric to the desired size.
Fold the bottom hem of each curtain panel up by 2 inches and press with an iron. Fold up the hem again by 2 inches and press again. Stitch the hem in place.
Fold the side hems of each curtain panel up by 1 inch and press with an iron. Fold up the hems again by 1 inch and press again. Stitch the hems in place.
Install the curtain rod on your wall.

Hang the curtains on the curtain rod.
