How To Make Lined Curtains Tutorial

Fabric for the lining
Thread
Measuring tape
Scissors
Sewing machine
Iron and ironing board
Curtain rod
Curtain hooks or rings

Instructions:

1. Measure the width and length of the window where you want to hang the curtains. Add 4 inches to the width and 8 inches to the length to allow for hems and overlap.

2. Cut out two pieces of fabric for the curtains, one for the front and one for the lining. The pieces should be the same size.

3. Fold the bottom hem of the front fabric up by 4 inches and press it in place. Fold the hem up again by 4 inches and press it in place. Stitch the hem down close to the edge.

4. Fold the side hems of the front fabric up by 2 inches and press them in place. Fold the hems up again by 2 inches and press them in place. Stitch the hems down close to the edge.
